My name is Calvert Herrmann. I am one of the receptionists and have worked in the office since 1987. I enjoy watching the patients achieve beautiful smiles. I have two children and enjoy animals, making soap, baking and the arts.

I have worked for Dr. Hamer for 18 years. My primary job is lab tech but I also assist at least one day a week. I love the creativity of the lab and the communication with the patients when I am assisting. I am married with two wonderful children and live in Louisa County.

I was born in Richmond, and lived there most of my life. I love spending time with my two sons. I came to work for Drs. Hamer & Hamer in 1989. I have served as an appointment coordinator, lab tech, chair side assistant, and insurance administrator. I love working with the patients as well as with the caring staff in the practice. It is truly a family atmosphere.

I have lived in Nelson County most all of my life. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years. We have a beautiful daughter Hayli. I have been in the dental field for 19 years and with the Hamer team for 12 years. The group that I work with have become just like family to me over the years. I have learned so much from both Dr. Hamers. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, crafting and cooking.

I live in Fluvanna with my husband, Jason, and my son, Colby. When I’m not busy attending my son’s sporting events, I enjoy riding 4-wheelers and going to car shows. I’m a proud supporter of Fluco and UVA athletics. I’ve been a part of the Hamer team since January 1996. I have enjoyed working closely with Dr. Hamer all of these years. I admire his devotion to his patients and his family. The rest of the team is like my second family.

I was born and raised in Augusta County and currently reside in Stuarts Draft. I am the proud mother of twins. When I am not spending time with my family, I like to cook, craft and read. I have been with the Hamer team since November 2000. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families. I like to keep up with their progress and see their final results.

A life long resident of Fluvanna County, I have been married to my husband Jay for 9 years; with whom I share an interest in Vintage Mustangs. After many years of interest in pursuing a career in the dental field, the opportunity arose for me to join Dr. Hamer’s team. The reward of seeing a patient freely smiling after completing their treatment makes me proud of my job and I look forward to coming to work each day.

I grew up in Western Albemarle and have lived in Madison for six years. I love spending time with my family and visiting with relatives in Nova Scotia, Canada.
